Netlflix wanted to make a premiere for her first Brazilian movie, The Matador, then asked TM1 to develop a big party for that moment. At the time I was art director of the agency and together with the planning Eduardo Rangel and another art director Eduardo Abreu, we created a premiere full of surprises, the guests did not know that would have a party after the screening and then when the film ended, we opened the doors of the party with a forro band (a style of Brazilian music from the north of Brazil) playing and the sets of the series making the party of the party decoration. At the exit the guests won a cordel (Cordel are leaflets containing popular poems, displayed for sale hanging on ropes or twines, which gave rise to the name. The string poems are written in rhyme form and some are illustrated.) of the story of the character Cabeleira, illustrator for me as a thank you gift to the guests of Netflix.
